'Jalsa' Brought Huge Loss Overseas

This is what the overseas distributors are bagging while putting fingers in big film. The theaters overseas were booked much in advance by distributors to release 'Jalsa' on large scale. For the first time, the film is planned to release in a Multiplex of New Jersey. Advances were paid in large sum to the theatres but finally, it turned a mishap. The film got postponed to April. This has brought tremors among overseas distributors and now they are lamenting for a big loss.
On the other hand the big producers are no way concerned towards these distributors and they were simply left to their fate. There has been a practice that the overseas distributors send their own people to India to get the points to their places as they hardly believe in the professionalism and concern of producers. But still, unforeseen postpones are killing the spirits of all.
"In fact they sell the product for big sums and assume that they are helping overseas distributors to big extent. But they don't wish to see our faces when we say that we lost", says a distributor.
Industry sources say that except Gemini Kiran all else are conservative and selfish with respect to overseas distributors. It is said that Gemini Kiran releases the prints two days in advance to ensure comfortable position of distributors and exhibitors. Overseas exhibitors are now cursing Allu Aravind for their plight
