Raghuvaran was the undisputed badshaw of baddies. He brought a rare appeal and richness to the role of villain in films. His distinct voice and cool mannerism made him the number one villain in Kollywood.
Raghuvaran passed away recently after a protracted battle with major ailment. He left a big void in the Tamil film industry. He is almost irreplaceable. But then, as they say, the show must go on. So the directors and producers in Kollywood are now on the lookout for suitable replacement for him. The talented Prabhu, son of Sivaji Ganesan and our own 'Sivaji' villain Suman, are now stepping into his shoes. Many directors are now casting these two actors in films which are either half done are now going to the sets in Tamil. Thus Raghuvaran's demise brought chances for Suman and Prabhu.
