Balakrishna - The King of Mythology

Today is Balakrishna's 48th birthday. Taking the legacy of his father NTR he turned an actor at very young age. He appeared as child artiste for the first time in 'Tatamma Kala' and then notably appeared in 'Annadammula Anubandham', 'Akbar Saleem Anarkali' as Saleem, 'Dana Veera Sura Karna' as Abhimanyu and in 'Srimad Virat Veerabrahmendra Swamy Charitra' as Siddappa. He made his unique mark as hero eventually and acted in many hit films. Mangamma Gari Manavadu, Muddula Mamayya are the films those made him a successful village hero. Many films have come in those lines up till 'Bangaru Bullodu'.
Along with those village background films, his triumph with action films like 'Lorry Driver', 'Dharma Kshetram' etc was also witnessed by time. The unique thing aboyt Balakrishna is his perfect grooving in mythological and folklore films. His performance in films like 'Bhairava Dweepam' and 'Sri Krishnarjuna Vijayam' were marvelous. His portrayal as Sri Krishna Deva Raya in 'Aditya 369' speaks volumes about his grace in playing such roles. He can be called 'mythological king' among the present time actors.
He has set a trend for faction films with 'Samara simha Reddy' that shook box offices like a quake. Even his 'Narasimha Naidu' in those lines was a big mass hit.
He acted in about 89 films till now and his latest film 'Pandurangadu' is an example for his acting prowess in mythological roles as Pundareeka and Lord Krishna. He has the desire to remake 'Narthanasala' and says that he would accomplish that near future.
On the flip side Balakrishna is stepping into active politics by campaigning for TDP in coming elections. His fans have been in jubilant mood with this birthday of Balakrishna than ever before. Even media is focusing big on his birthday this time. Almost all the TV channels are airing his films, songs and interviews.
