Behind The Scene: DS pulls up Botsa

Housing Minister Botsa Satyanarayana's challenge to the Left parties that they should withdraw support to the UPA government, if they had guts, rather than taking up agitations against the Congress government on every issue, has drawn a lot of flak from the Congress high command.
Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas expressed anger over Botsa's controversial remarks, saying that it was none of his business to talk about Left parties' withdrawal of support to the UPA government. He is of the view that such comments would do more harm to the UPA-Left relations, which were already strained to a great extent. "It is for the Congress high command to explain to the Left parties on the oil price hike. You should not make such comments," DS is learnt to have told Botsa.
Already, CPI State secretary K Narayana said Botsa's challenge would be accepted and very soon, his dream of Left deserting the UPA government would be fulfilled.
