'I won because of TDP and Cong'

Creating a flutter in the Congress and TDP camps, TRS legislator from Alair in Nalgonda Dr K Nagesh said that the leaders of these two parties were responsible for his win in the recent by-elections.
Nagesh, on his first visit to Yadagirigutta after his victory, told reporters that the detractors of M Narsimhulu, who contested the election on a TDP ticket, worked for his win the elections. It is not only the TDP leaders but support came from the Congress camp also, he claimed.
According to Nagesh, the followers of Ramannapet legislator and senior leader Vuppunuthala Purusotham Reddy worked for him. Purusotham Reddy had openly asked people to vote for TRS.
Both the Congress and TDP leaders, however, had denied Nagesh’s claims.
Both the political camps are thinking whether it is a ploy of the TRS to create trouble in the respective parties.
“How can a MLA say that he did not won on his own strength but due to the support extended by the opposition leaders? It seems a trick,” a senior leader commented.
