Director Surender Reddy shot into fame with the film 'Athanokkade'. He showed his talent and many praised him as the next big name in Tollywood. People said that it was just a matter of time for Surender Reddy to make it to the top and join the league of directors like Puri Jagannath, SS Rajamouli and VV Vinayak.
But Surender Reddy faltered along the way. Even though he bagged a chance to direct heroes like Jr. NTR and Prince Mahesh Babu, he could not make a mark with them. His films 'Ashok' and 'Athidhi' were box office disasters.
Surender Reddy did not get a chance to direct a film after Athidhi. He has now finally managed to convince Ravi Teja to act in his film. The shooting for the film will commence once Ravi Teja completes his film titled 'Neinthe' with Puri Jagannath.
Surender Reddy also has plans to make a series of James Bond films with Mahesh Babu. Above all this director Vamshi is also trying to pull Ravi Teja for one of his films. Who will win the race to pick up Ravi Teja has to be seen.
