TRS loses hopes on Chiru

At last, Telangana Rashtra Samithi appears to have lost hopes on having an understanding with megastar Chiranjeevi before the next general elections, with his brother Nagababu giving a hint that the new party would not favour a Telangana State.
All these days, TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao has been of the hope that there could be a tie-up with Chiru party, even if the latter adopts a neutral stand, if not a positive stand. However, Nagababu's statement has shattered all his hopes. He has to now look for a fresh alliance to survive in the arena.
TRS MLA and KCR's nephew T Harish Rao did not hide his disappointment. He said Nagababu's statement that certain forces were trying to divide the people on the regional lines, was an insult to the people of Telangana, who have been fighting for their self-respect. Though Chiranjeevi did not come out openly against Telangana, Nagababu's comments were a reflection of Chiru's mind, Harish said.
