Even after six days of getting elected to the Assembly, seven TRS elected representatives did not take their oath as MLAs in the Assembly.
This has surprised political observers and scribes as well, as all other MLAs took their oath. On Friday, being an auspicious day, Congress MLAs took the oath and Speaker K R Suresh Reddy was wondering why TRS MLAs are delaying the process.
There was no response from the Telangana Bhavan as well. However, TRS sources say the newly elected MLAs wanted some time, as the people would forget the humiliation meted out to the party gradually and therefore, there would not be much media focus on them. They might take oath on Saturday or Sunday, sources say.
On the other hand, TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, too, has decided to come out of his shell and go back to public. As part of that, he has agreed to face questions from the people in a live interaction on a television channel on Sunday. All the best KCR!
