Secret Of Nag's New Glamour

Yuvasamrat Akkineni Nagarjuna is one man who has always stood as an icon when it comes to style, talent and most importantly smart looks. However, in few of his recent releases like 'Don' there was a talk that Nag was looking pretty old and the age was showing on him. Nag seems to have taken these comments too seriously now.
Apparently, Nag is all set to appear in his new venture 'King' and the stills that have come out and those who are watching Nag on the sets are simply spell bound trying to figure out how come he is looking so ravishingly young. A birdie says that Nag is on a strict high protein diet and also his intake of Vitamin C has increased which has given him the young and new look. That way he safeguarded his trade mark.
Though we have mentioned in the headline that it is Nag's new glamour, the fact remains that he will always be evergreen when it comes to his style and class and that's what brought him so many laurels from the Telugu fans and others too. 'King' will be seeing Nag pairing up with the petite beauty Trisha.

'Romeo' Challenges 'Real Star'

While the bubbly beauty Genelia is being considered as the lucky mascot among the ladies to make the films a hit, 'Real Star' Sri Hari is the man who is supposed to be the best bet when it comes to the gentlemen of the Telugu industry and his presence has always churned out some real good hits and have also made careers for struggling actors.
This time he is all set to revive the almost dead career of Aryan Rajesh who is better known as the son of E V V Satyanarayana. Both of them will be seen together in the upcoming film which has been tentatively titled 'Romeo' and it is heard that the film revolves around a single phone call that 'Romeo' makes to the heroine's brother who happens to be Sri Hari and challenges that he will love his sister. While 'Romeo' is Rajesh, Sri Hari is playing a don like character.
While who wins the challenge remains to be seen on screen, the most important challenge lies ahead for Aryan Rajesh to bring back life to his career and also party for Sri Hari to prove that he is indeed the lucky mascot for those in crisis.

'Gulabi' Never Stops Her Fragrance

For all those who are not aware, actress Maheshwari who was seen in films like 'Gulabi' 'Pelli' and other hits will soon be tying the knot this September after a long standing issue over her boyfriend. However, here is the interesting part. The spouting lip beauty has announced that marriage won't change a thing when it comes to her career and she will continue with her assignments.
Well marriage or no marriage, the talk in the industry is Maheshwari has not been around since a long time so getting to see her on screen was not a preferred option then so it may not be the same even now. Maheshwari who is currently in Chennai will shortly move base to Hyderabad after her marriage and perhaps look at starting a second innings here.
But then the question remains as to which of the film makers would want to take her in, as it is they have been seeing the second innings spree of top stars like Rambha, Simran, Uday Kiran and others which have not been able to take off in any way.

Big Push For Nandamuri Hero

It is known news that Energetic star Kalyan Ram is all set to comeback with his new venture 'Hare Ram' and the audio release function is happening on the 28th of this month. In order to ensure some full length artillery support, the event is being graced by the powerful Balakrishna and the strong NTR jr. With the stage set in place, the calculations have begun on Kalyan Ram's future.
The initial stills of the movie are out and it is being said that they have come out really well, while one section of public feels that this movie will definitely anchor the position of Kalyan Ram, there is another talk which says that Kalyan may not have the right kind of appeal to influence the viewers with his presence.
This apart, the presence of the voluptuous beauty Priyamani who was not seen for quite some time is an added bonus which works in favor of the film along with some melodious tunes from Micky J Meyer who rocked the whole state with his 'Happy Days' Bonanza. All the best Kalyan and may your efforts get recognized this time.

YS Jagan's Dream House In 12 Acres

While his father is busy standing right in the middle of some really trying political situations and working his way through with his experience and intelligent thinking, Y S Jagan has been busy concentrating on business and becoming more of an entrepreneur with suave and style.
It is now heard that the Young and charismatic leader is coming up with a dream home which is being constructed at the famous Yelahanka area in Bangalore. Set on a sprawling area of 12 acres, the home is said to be a state of the art creation with the latest facilities and also the facility of a helipad. Reports say that this is something that would make even the Ambanis envious of Jagan.
Currently, Jagan is staying at the HSR layout in Bangalore and he would move in to his new nest as soon as the construction is done. Considering his taste for elegance and presentation, folks say that his home will surely be one visual feast to watch out for.

Will 'Warrior' Win Over 'Saint'?

This might sound like the big fight between god and the devil himself but then it is not to be. What we are talking about is the upcoming film of Yuva Ratna Balakrishna who has been keeping the media and the film folks on their toes with regard to the announcement of his next film.
Till sometime, it was the movie titled 'Sadhu' which was to be directed by the famous film maker Gunasekhar. However, NBK has now changed his stands and it is now heard that he has given the chance to a new player who goes by the name of Dasrath. The title for this venture is said to have been titled 'Kshatriyudu'.
So the focus has now shifted on whether NBK did the right thing by going in for a debutante rather than relying on the old war horse. As such he has not been having that great a hit when it comes to his films so many people have started betting their numbers on whether 'Kshatriyudu' will really have the punch in it to give Balayya the deserved success or was he better off if he had opted 'Sadhu'.

What Is The 'King' Combo?

Yuva Samrat Nagarjuna who has been transferring his image from a class star to a mass star with his recent films like 'Mass' 'Don' etc made his appeal with the mass audience but then it did not create the kind of impact that was required to break the box office. However, things have started moving on and Nag is already into his next venture.
It is a regular custom to keep Nag's every film under wraps until it hits the theatres which automatically increases the curiosity factor and this time his venture has been titled as 'King' which might sound periodic but is a social movie. This is being directed by the continuous hit director Sreenu Vaitla which makes the project even more interesting.
This time however, the director has made things a bit easier by revealing that the film will be more of a combination and recalled the examples of Nag's blockbuster hits 'Shiva' 'Hello Brother'. So this means that the movie is more like an action packed entertainer. This looks very much true since Real Star Sri Hari is also in this venture which means there is some seriousness angle to this entertainer. It now remains to be seen if this 'King' combo will work its effect on the Box office or not.

Why Sravanthi Ravi Kishore Not Working This Way?

It is known news that the recently released film 'Ready' has been received with some real good response and the makers are really excited about it. However, there is a query that is popping in everyone's mind as to why hero Ram who also happens to be a nephew of the producer Sravanthi Ravikishore is not having any fans associations or clubs.
It has become an important aspect for any star to remain in the top league and maintain his appeal with the audience and this is possible only through the formation of fan associations. This was one reason why Mohan Babu failed on developing his sons' careers since they did not have a fan club. On the other hand, there was Krishnamraju who did not hesitate at anything to ensure that Prabhas got the maximum of fan associations and the effect of that can be seen today. It was also said as grapevine that Krishnam Raju donated Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 Lakh those days for almost all Prabhas fans associations.
It would be a good option if Ravi Kishore can actually look at creating a fan club for Ram and that way the lad will be in the eyes of the people and his stand as a hero will be maintained in the years to come.

KCR And Babu Sailing In Same Boat

For all those who have been keenly following the happenings on the political front of Andhra Pradesh, it is known news that the TDP suffered a setback with its chief leader Devender Goud walking out of the party citing Telangana sentiment. This has sounded like music to the ears of K Chandrasekhar Rao who heads the TRS party and has been nursing his wounds after the defeat at the recent bi-polls.
It is now being heard that KCR is making his moves to join hands with Goud but the question is whether Goud is going to set up a new party like T-TDP. If this happens then KCR wants T-TDP and TRS to join hands and fight against the Congress. However, there is also another side whether Goud will be really interested in welcoming KCR since this could well mean that he will have to play second fiddle again to a person who has already walked out of the same party for the same reason. While this doubt was lingering in the heads of many Goud announced that he will no way join hands with TRS.
Now tensions started in TRS camp also. Prakash, the TRS leader jumped towards Goud bringing tremors of exodus in the heart of KCR. Many a jumping from TRS to Goud's side is in line. So, with Prakash's jumping out from TRS and Goud's jump out from TDP, KCR and Chandrababu are in same tensions now! Emotionally both are sailing in same boat.

Same Batch Repeats In Every 'Chiru Sadassu'

Several meetings are being held in the name of Chiranjeevi Students Forum, Chiranjeevi Lawyers forum etc. But it is being heard among public that 80 percent of people are repeating in every forum meet. Only 20 percent of new faces are seen. Adding to this, majority people in every forum are looking very rough and rude giving an impression that they are rowdies and gundas.
Chiranjeevi is known for softness, tenderness and human touch. If the people behind him are rough and rude, that wouldn't become a right match. Chiru might need to check what is happening behind him and who are gathering behind him.
What is the signal it is giving? Are Mitra and Aravind successful in pooling considerable number of supporters? And same applies to the SPARC events held in USA as well, as per reports. Only 20 families are seen on a whole and no new add-ons. But it is also assumed that the number would drastically increase once Chiranjeevi announces the party.

Navadeep Becoming Big Party Animal

Young star Navadeep may not have many offers to his credit but then he makes sure that he is always in the limelight be it a public gathering, a film event or even for that matter the column of the page 3 list of celebrities.
Off late, it is being heard that Navadeep has become an avid party animal and not a weekend passes without spotting this cat eyed lad in the most happening joints at Hyderabad. While it is not sure if all this is an effort to be in front of the media glare for publicity, one thing is sure that Navadeep loves to party and he has now joined the list of regulars on the Page 3 list.
However, there was once a time when the young star made news for his excessive passion for beer which can turn the body and mind out of shape. So one hopes that Navadeep keeps that in mind and has his share of fun at the party without neglecting his charming looks and of course his career.

Calculations In Congress About Star-Couple

The nexus between the film industry and politics goes a long way back when it comes to the south Indian circuit and unlike the rest of the country, the film stars make up for a lot of political mileage in our state where they are treated no less than gods.
Now, with the assembly elections in the pipeline, many parties have been roping in the cream of stars for the canvassing and few of them have been taking them as party members too. The Congress party has now been approached by the star couple Rajasekhar-Jeevitha who have been showing a lot of interest to join the party.
The ruling party also looks positive to their entry but as of now they are trying to evaluate the pros and cons of taking them in. On the other hand, the analysts have already got down to their calculations and are trying to figure out how much of success Congress will get once they rope the star couple in and how much it will benefit in the coming elections with the duo.

Nitin's 8-Pack Hopes On 27th June

Hero Nitin is one lad among the younger lot of stars who has been craving for a hit since a long time and if you have a look at his career, apart from his debut film 'Jayam' and after a few years 'Sye' which came in have been the only registered hits and the rest have fared as total debacles or just above average entertainers.
Now, Nitin has gone for a complete transformation and from a chocolate boy he has become a muscular hunk by coming out with curvy biceps and some real strong packs on the Ab. Incidentally, he happens to be the only Telugu star as of now to have an eight pack ab while others like Allu Arjun, Prabhas are still on the six pack league.
Nitin is looking forward for the release of his film 'Victory' on the 27th of this month and is hoping that it will be his muscular form and some bold shows of his newly formed abs that will get him the success tag and also the presence of Mamta Mohandas is another factor that sounds appealing. But the question of truth still remains whether audience would want to give a victory to this young star by getting impressed for his muscles or his acting skills. Good luck for that Nitin.

Sanjay Dutt loses 26 kilos!

Sanjay Dutt has taken to fitness in a big way. The actor has lost 26 kgs (yeah, you read that right) for his action-packed thriller, Blue, which is being produced by Ashtavinayak. Dutt is currently in the Bahamas shooting for the film, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone. Manyata is also with Sanjay in the Bahamas.
A source says, “It was extremely important for Sanjay to lose a lot of weight after he came out of prison where he had developed a double chin and a big paunch.”
So how did Sanju shed all those ounces? Hollywood trainer Lawrence, who has come from Los Angeles specially for this, has been training Sanjay. It is believed that the actor earlier wanted Mark Twight, who trained the cast of the war epic 300, but Mark was busy with other commitments. So, get ready for a leaner Sanju!

Producer Behaves Like 'Aparichithudu'

There was a time when it was only the heroes and heroines who had their special set of tantrums along with the problems faced during the movie making time but here is one man who is being regarded for his big heart and at the same time ridiculed for his rigidity.
He is none other than the head of the R R Movie makers Venkat Reddy, apparently the producer has been a key figure in the film industry and is said to be a secret helping hand for many film functions and also the secret investor for many films wherein he has never expected any profits to roll by with his acts. He has been a name to reckon with when it comes to noble gestures like these, however there is also a flip side to it.
Venkat is said to be so rigid that he does not listen to any advises when it comes to the release of his own films and takes his own decisions and does his own thing. So much so that there have been instances where he has released his films all by himself even without taking in any distributor. He is currently looking forward to the release of his film 'Victory' and let us see what this 'Aparichithudu' of sorts is doing this time. Yes, film circles call him Aparichithudu from behind.

Madhura Sridhar As Krishna Vamshi

With the emerging trend of people in different streams of the film industry getting into the field of direction, the list of directors is increasing day by day and this is a good sign given the fact that creativity and variety falls in right mix.
One such name to join this bandwagon is Sreedhar who is better known as Madhura Sreedhar as he happens to be the head of the leading audio company 'Madhura Entertainment'. Now, Sreedhar is all set to make his debut as a director with the new film 'Snehageetam'. And Sreedhar will be choreographing two songs in his venture.
Apparently, Sreedhar is said to be canning the songs in a typical Krishna Vamsi style with the required sensuality and oomph on the screen. It is also known in film circles that he is a good lyricist too. He may pen a few songs as well.
On the other hand, he will be finalizing the cast for the film through a talent hunt contest and same is the case with singers too who would be roped in through a voice hunt contest through Radio Mirchi.

Comedian Mallikarjuna Rao no more!

Popular tollywood comedian Mallikarjuna Rao who is also known as 'Battala Satyam' has breathed at last few mins ago in Appolo hospital. He had been suffering from lukemia quite some time and was admitted in Appolo hospital couple of days ago.
He became popular with his character 'Battala satti' in "Ladies Tailor" film. To his credit till now he had acted in 375 films. He also won Nandi award for the movie 'Thammudu' under the category of 'Best Supporting Actor' .
His last rites is going to be held in Anakapalli, his birth place. He was survived with wife, two daughters and son.

Film Fare Guaranteed For Dasavataram

Finally, the mammoth efforts of 'Lokanayakudu' Kamal Haasan and the incessant postponement of the release of his film 'Dasavatharam' seemed to have reaped the benefits of the initial hiccups. The film has now been declared a super success and its magic is spreading not just in India but also to other parts of the world.
Kamal who has been seen in ten different roles in the film ranging from a staunch Vaishnav Brahmin of the 12th century to the current president of the US George Bush has been getting some real good applause for his efforts in the get ups along with the powerful performances which really fitted the different roles. Also, the presence of Mallika and Asin has given its glamorous touch to the film.
It is now being said that the film has been rated well in all departments and trade pundits are saying that the film has now become a hot favorite for the Film Fare awards. With the novelty and the grandeur involved in the project, their calculations seem right.

Another Choreographer Becomes Director

Off late there has been a phenomenal increase in the number of folks becoming directors, they could be film stars, producers, cameramen and even music makers. The latest category to join this list happens to be dance choreographers and some of them are making some good waves with their directorial skills.
Now, another name has joined the band wagon and he happens to be the noted choreographer Samuel who will soon be getting promoted as a director with his film 'Hey Rama Enti Ee Gola'. The film stars Baladitya as the hero and other details such as the cast and crew are being worked out currently.
It looks like Sam seems to have taken the inspiration from folks like Raghava Lawrence, Prabhu Deva, Raju Sundaram and others who have been getting some decent hits with their skills but then everyday is not a Sunday so it takes some real good efforts and hardwork to master the art of film making. Whether Samuel has it in him? We will know once his film releases…

Sirivennela's Son Loses Independence On Aug 15th

While August 15th happens to be the Independence Day for the entire nation, it could well be that this would be the day the freedom for Raja who is better known as the son of the famous lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry's son will be lost. Still confused? Let us clear the air for you then…
It is known news that dynamic director Teja who is currently busy with his film 'Keka' has roped in Raja to be the lead hero for the film and now he has announced that the film would be hitting the screens on August 14th. Till now, Raja's identity has been kept under wraps from the public eye and even the film has been continuing it's shooting away from the media glare.
It is heard that Raja's friends are pulling his leg that come August 15th, once the film releases he will be exposed to the general public and from then on it will be next to impossible for him to move freely and go wherever he wants. The flip side is, before that, what remains to be seen are whether the public will receive him with such type of craze.

Chocolate Boy Luring Bollywood Bombshell?

We are referring to our very own Telugu lad Tarun who is better known as the 'Chocolate Boy' of Tollywood. It is known news that Tarun has come out with some of the finest hits with Aarti Agarwal and though things went haywire on their personal front, they were touted as a successful pair on screen. Currently, not much is happening in Tarun's career and it looks like everything ended with Aarti Agarwal only.
But the latest news that is arriving says that Tarun had recently gone to Mumbai for some work and there he encountered the spicy bombshell Amrita Arora. It is heard that he has been smitten by this hot beauty and is said to be working his charms through to make way into a special place in her heart.
However, given the flamboyance of Amrita and her environment of big stars and high profile celebrity lifestyle there seems to be a fair share of doubt whether our Chocolate boy can actually freeze this hot girl and spin her into his world. Only time will give the answer to this puzzle.

Allari Naresh Changed His Favorite Spot

If there is any star who can be called riding the success wave in the realistic terms then it is none other than Allari Naresh who has come up with either very successful hits or a set of critically acclaimed performances. Soon he will be seen with his upcoming film 'Blade Babji' wherein he is pairing up with the Bollywood beauty Sayali Bhagath.
It is often noticed that when it comes to foreign locations, Naresh along with his father E V V Satyanarayana the famous Telugu film maker always opt for Bangkok, be it the shooting of a song or taking a break from films by getting a massage done 'over there'. However, Naresh's answer at a recent interview surprised many.
When asked about his favorite holiday spot he came out with the answer as Mauritius and Indonesia and did not take any reference towards Thailand or Bangkok. One really wonders as to the reason why Naresh came up with such an answer. Only time will tell. In fact, just to overcome the question on body massage may be.

NTR's Soul and '13-Number' On Chandrababu?

It sounds to be fiction but some how things appear to be true. As soon as Devender Goud's resignation news came to light, an occult way of analyses is being done by Congress people. It is said that NTR's soul is taking revenge of Chandrababu now. And 'number-13' analyses is also seeing light. They say, "It was in 1995 August when the legendary NTR was betrayed by Chandrababu by pooling MLAs to his side and making NTR powerless. The betrayal pained NTR a lot and entire state knows the history. NTR also made an audio cassette expressing his pain with the title 'Jamata Dasama Grahaha' (son-in-law, the tenth planet). That was destroyed by Babu and Co within no time. Eventually the pain of betrayal by son-in-law took away NTR as well. Laxmi Parvathi cursed Babu at that time. Her spell of curse on Chandrababu seems to be working now. August is approaching and Chandrababu may be seen as a deserted leader by his own party men with Laxmi Parvati's curse. It's 13 years that Babu betrayed NTR. And numerologically 13 is the number of dead, death and extra terrestrial powers. Is it a revenge on Babu by Time? Is it a curse of Laxmi Parvathi who said that Babu will lose everything and will be deserted by everyone? Is it the pain felt by NTR that is boomeranged on Babu? Curses, boons and banes are not merely restricted to Puranic times. They are happening even now. Just see! Chandrababu loses everything as NTR lost 13 years ago". The resignation of Devender Goud is one big jolt for Babu. He has to find ways to save his career before August, if the above theory is true. Yes, occult science is superstitious till it comes to self-experience! And it is time for Chandrababu to consult astrologers and tantric gurus!

Devender Goud and Chiranjeevi On Phone

This is the hot news that has come out from reliable sources. Just after the news that Devender Goud's resignation from TDP seen light, there was a telephone conversation between Chiranjeevi and Goud. This gives signals that Goud will be joining with Chiranjeevi as soon as he announces the party. Chiranjeevi wishes to use Goud to attract Telengana area as per the initial talk. Indeed Kadiyam Srihari may also join Chiranjeevi. With Goud and Srihari walking out from TDP, it gives signals to people that TDP is only the party of OCs and no place for BCs and SCs. And Chiru welcoming them would certainly add weight for political mileage.

Goud quits TD, to float new party

The simmering discontent in the Telugu Desam over the contentious Telangana issue has finally led to a split in the party. On Monday, senior Telugu Desam leader T Devender Goud resigned from the party, as well as Assembly membership. Other senior leaders Kadiam Srihari, Ch Rajeshwara Rao and E Peddi Reddy are also following Goud.
The Telangana leaders are expected to float a separate party, probably by name "Telangana Desam," in a day or two. By all means, Goud would lead the party. The development, though not unexpected, has come as a rude jolt to TD president N Chandrababu Naidu at a time when he is dreaming of coming back to power. Now, he has to rework all his strategies. While maintaining a neutral stand on Telangana issue, Naidu would pitch in other weaker section leaders like Talasani Srinivasa Yadav and M Narsihmulu to lead their forces from the front.
However, observers say Naidu would be in deep trouble with the split in the party, in the Telangana region. One has to wait for some more time to feel the impact of the split.

Director's search for Blue Bird

T. Prabhakar, director of successful film Bathukamma on Telangana tradition, said that he took a lot of pains to show the worn-out method of Yetam (manual arrangement of lifting of water from well using bullocks for irrigation) and Palapitta (Indian roller) in his film. "With electrification, the farmers forgot Yetam. When I tried to show this in a scene (for 10 seconds), I had fetch some parts like hook (Bokkena) all the way from Karimnagar. For Blue Bird, I tried for seven days. I lost hopes. Finally, a person in our village Mulugu caught it after three days of waiting. This bird-shot also lasts for just a few seconds. But, we spent our mind for ten days."

Megastar posters torn off

Tension prevailed in Asakapalli village of Subbavaram mandal in Vizag district Thursday evening when the posters and cutouts of megastar Chiranjeevi were partially removed or torn off. The mega fans displayed the material following the jatara of a local temple. They alleged the hand of Congress workers in the act and resorted to rastaroko in front of the local police station, resulting in a traffic jam for one hour. The sarpanch said the fans entered the village and erected cutouts and pasted wall posters without consulting anyone. The police took complaints from both sides.

Kajal To Replace Shriya

The sizzling beauty Shriya is one girl who started her career in the south and ruled the roost here for quite some time before going home in the north and making her presence felt. Today, she is one of the most sought after actresses not just in Bollywood but also in Hollywood and sky seems to be the limit for this seductive beauty when it comes to her career.
Shriya's upward graph has turned out to be a blessing in disguise for yet another north beauty who came in with a flop but slowly and surely she found her way into the hearts of the southern audience. She is none other than Kajal Agarwal.
Since Shriya has been busy with her projects in the north and internationally, her absence is being filled by Kajal and sources say that what used to be Shriya's position about four years ago, it is now the position of Kajal and the enticing beauty has been cashing in on her stand with equal smartness and sweet looks.

Kajal With Brothers-in-law

Kajal had a different experience recently. She got an offer to act with two heroes from the same family. While she is already acting with Ram Charan Teja in a film being directed by S S Rajamouli, she has got an offer to pair with Allu Arjun in another movie. Sukumar is directing the flick and it’s going to be a sequel of Arya. According to Film Nagar sources, the offer has come with the recommendation of Nagababu, who played the role of her father in Chandamama.
Many in Tollywood feel Kajal has bagged the rare opportunity of acting with ‘Bava-Bava Maridhi’.

Puri In 'Black Hole'

It's just 5 days ago that Chakry enjoyed his birthday bash at 'Black Hole Pub' on 14th night of June in 'Celebrations' restaurant near Jubilee Check Post.
And again last night DVV Danayya has arranged for a huge party at the same place for the entire 'Nenithe' team. It is known that the shooting of 'Neninthe' was started yesterday. Right from Ravi Teja to music director Chakry to all big shots in the film unit have spent a cozy night there along with director Puri Jagannath.
The party went on till wee hours of Thursday. 'Black Hole' pub becomes a favorite spot for many of the film celebrities these days.

Is Venkatesh-Krish Movie A Hollywood Remake?

Victory Venkatesh is now busy with work for his film 'Chintakayala Ravi (software engineer)'. The film stars Anushka as the main heroine. Yogi is directing the film and Nallamalapu Bujji is the producer. The film is a rib-tickling comedy with good family sentiment. The Bollywood duo of Vishal-Shekar of Om Shanthi Om fame is scoring the music for the film. The film is expected to hit the screens in October.
Meanwhile the talk about Venky's new film is doing the rounds in Film Nagar. The new sensation in Tollywood, Jagaralamudi Radhakrishna (Krish) of Gamyam fame is stated to have readied a script for Venkatesh, Venky had expressed his wish to work in a film under his direction. The talk is that the film has been being made with an inspiration from Hollywood flick. It is understood that the story has been inspired by that film and Krish is making some modifications to make it suitable for the Telugu audience.
But another segment of Film Nagar says that Krish is completely original in his thought and makes a film in such a way that Hollywood gets inspired with it. If this is true, the film may not be any inspiration from other flick. The title of the film will be either 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum' or 'Krishna Mukunda Murari'.

Dasavataram Running Housefuls

It was meant to be the movie of not just the season but for a long time to come, thanks to the immense creativity of the concept and of course the presence of the legendary Kamal Hassan in it. Yes, we are talking about the recently released 'Dasavatharam' which is meant to be one of the long standing dreams of Kamal and his ambitious thoughts.
Though the film has been receiving some mixed response throughout its worldwide release, it has still been able to attract crowds to a full house in the theatres and the trend seems to be on for quite some time. This seems to be the case even in places like Bengal where the film has been dubbed into Hindi and south Indian flicks are not a big welcome.
Experts say it is the presence of Kamal in the ten different get ups that has really worked for him and though the roles were limited, it was the names of Mallika Sherawat and Asin that drew the crowds. It is also a known fact that it will take a real long time for someone to come up with a movie like this where the protagonist appears in ten different roles connected to each other and all this in just one film.

YSR rubbishes talks over Chiru's entry into politics

Buoyed by the recent bypoll results, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on Thursday pooh-poohed speculation over Telugu matinee idol Chiranjeevi's entry into politics, asserting that Congress would repeat its performance in the coming polls.
Congress has won in so many rounds of polls such as municipal, panchayat raj, cooperative and the recent bypolls and "let anyone come, we will challenge. There will be some challenge," he told reporters when asked about the Telugu star's entry into politics.
"The final round is going to come. I am quite sure we will repeat our performance... We will hold the cup," he said.
On the possibility of early polls, he said elections were due in April. "If they are going to conduct Parliamentary polls in February, we may also go for it. But if they happen in November, we may not opt for it".
Reddy, who is here to meet several Union Ministers on the state projects, greeted Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi on his birthday today.
"He is our future leader. Why doubt about it," he said in reply to a question.
During his meeting with Tourism and Culture Minister Ambika Soni, Reddy urged the Centre to grant classical language status to Telugu and a Central grant for the Cuddapah tourist circle.
The Chief Minister quoted Soni as saying that a committee of experts was examining the issue of granting classical language status to Telugu and Kannada.

Director Shankar Buys Rs 12 Cr House

Shankar is synonymous to sensation. He is known for making big budget films with bigger hype. He is known for bigger speculation on film making. His new film that is going to sets is 'Robot' with Rajani Kanth and Aishwarya Rai. The first shock that Shankar gave is buying a western style bungalow on East Coast Road of Chennai. He identified a bungalow and negotiating it now. That is priced at Rs 12 cr it seems. He feels that hiring the bungalow may be wrong choice as he needs that for 2 years continuously. And he also wishes to make some alterations to the design which can be possible only after purchasing it. He wants to show that house as Rajani Kanth's bungalow in the film. The producers of the film Ayingaran International and Eros Multimedia have got convinced with Shankar's opinion. Yes, convincing and getting the things done is Shankar's style.
The estimated budget of the film is Rs 120 Cr. That proves to be an intelligent move indeed. After the completion of shooting, if there are any losses, they can sell the bungalow and make money. And land value is always escalating from time to time and it may get doubled after 2 years.
So Shankar opens doors for a new business statement.

Venkatesh Stunningly Looks Just 30

It is known news that successful star Venkatesh who is more fondly known as 'Victory' Venkatesh given his success track is currently busy with the shooting of his film 'Chintakayala Ravi (Software Engineer)' which is being shot in the US to a great deal.
It is heard that the cameraman of the film is Ravindra Babu who has learnt the latest concept of cinematography and has been implementing them in this film. The result – Venky is said to be looking a lot younger in the stills and inside sources say that he looks he is just 30 years or so. While his stills have given a fresh look to Venky, it is heard that the scenes in the movie are making him look like he is a young man of 30. The combination of a good make-up also seems to be the key behind Venky's charming looks.
There is a famous adage in Telugu which goes 'Mantralu Chadivithe Chinthakayalu Raalayi', such is the case of all those aspiring IT professionals who go to the US in search of dollar dreams and one among them happens to be our Venkatesh. What happens to him in the US and does he achieve those big dollars all this forms the crux of the story.

Tamannah Said 'No' To Allu Arjun

Actress Tamannah says 'No' to Allu Arjun's film. It was stated by Tamannah herself who is busy with various Tamil films and just completed 'Konchem Istanga Konchem Kashtanga' in Telugu with Siddhartha as hero.
She says to media "I'm completely busy now and working without rest. I'm packed up with many offers. In fact I had to politely refuse the Allu Arjun's film in Telugu for which I had signed in the beginning of this year. The only reason is I couldn't accommodate dates for him. It is good that the producer understood my problems and agreed to work on that project in 2009".
That's Tamannah's style now. She is too busy to sign any new film for about a year.

Dream Boy Dil Raju's Left Hand Fractured

He started his life as a normal boy in a film distributor's office and today he is one of the most sought after producers who is known to strike gold with any venture that he takes up. He is none other than the young and dynamic film producer Raju who is fondly known as 'Dil' Raju.
Off late, Dil Raju has been seen with a bandage and it is heard that he has suffered a fracture on his left hand. While it's not sure as to the cause of it, 'Dil' Raju has been moving around as though nothing has happened and is all excited about the success of his recent release 'Parugu' and the launch of his future projects.
Sources say that Dil Raju has several lady fans among the film industry and also outside so whenever he goes to public places, he gets rounded by these female admirers. Hence he has come to be known as 'Dream Boy' Dil Raju. So after seeing his fractured left hand, the ladies are said to be showing a lot of concern and are hoping for his speedy recovery.

Murali Mohan in Chiru party?

Till the other day, film star-turned-realtor Murali Mohan has claimed himself an out and out supporter of Telugu Desam. In fact, in the recent byelections, he expressed anguish for his name being deleted from the voters' list and said perhaps, the Congress did not want the TD sympathizers to cast their vote.
Having so much love for the Telugu Desam, his presence at Jubilee Hills temples along with Chiranjeevi on Tuesday has raised many an eyebrow. Though one might call it a coincidence, but Murali Mohan was found moving closely with Chiru and even standing beside him while speaking to mediapersons.
Indications are that Murali Mohan might join Chiru party sooner or later. He does not have any high political ambitions; all that he wants is to protect his real estate business interests. In the last four years of Congress rule, Murali Mohan has maintained a low profile and his business has not been that great despite a boom in the real estate. And there is no possibility of Telugu Desam coming back to power. So, why not keep faith on Chiru party and get some benefit out of it?

Chiru news not so good for Telugu news channels

Chiranjeevi, the popular Telugu actor pulls in crowds, but Chiranjeevi, the politician seems to have left audiences cold.
If the latest TAM ratings are any barometer to go about, people are grab being for the remote whenever reports on the superstar's political moves appear on screen. Chiranjeevi scored a low 0.8 per cent in the ratings game. The leading Telugu news channels are TV9, Eenadu TV, Gemini News, NTV and TV5.
Telugu news channels have been devoting much airtime to speculations about Chiranjeevi's political arangetram. But it has now become evident that not many were seeing the programmes.
A day after the attack on a newspaper office by suspected activists of the Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti, the leading Telugu satellite news channel aired a two-hour session with MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga.
A couple of days later, noted film producer and Chiranjeevi's brother-in-law Allu Aravind went to town claiming that the actor would jump into politics soon. Telugu news channels went hyper and started beaming special episodes with exclusive tidbits on the actor's party, flag and programme.
There were no takers for that stuff. "Manda Krishna's two-hour special earned us a TRP of 2.4 per cent whereas the four-hour show on Chiranjeevi's political moves got a mere 0.8 per cent," said Sreekanth, production in-charge, TV9 news channel.
Worse is the case of other Telugu channels that scored an average TRP of about 0.4 per cent. "News about Chiranjeevi is not selling well these days," said an executive of Gemini News.
Probably things will change once the star makes his dramatic entry into the arena. After all, Chiranjeevi has made a living out of keeping audiences on their seats. It seems that only political news relating to the Telugu film star Chiranjeevi is not selling.
When the actor's daughter Srija got married against his wishes a few months ago, TV channels made merry with TRPs touching an astounding six per cent and more.
News channels are usually happy even if the TRP touches two per cent but with the Chiranjeevi programmes not even crossing the one percent TRP, channel bosses are now a worried lot.
In fact, two Telugu news channels that have been vying with other on covering Chiranjeevi have not even crossed the 0.5 percent mark. The uneasy surmise is that people's interest in Chiranjeevi's political plans had waned with the actor postponing his entry several times.
"Six months ago, there was widespread anticipation about Chiranjeevi's political foray. There were many viewers for programmes on the actor. But as months passed without any action from his part, people have stopped taking his proclamations seriously." said Meenakshi Reddy of TV5 news channel.

CPDCL slaps cheque bounce case against Vijayashanti

The Central Power Distribution Company Limited (CPDCL) has served notices on Telugu actress and Talli Telangana Party (TTP) president Vijayashanti in a cheque bounce case on Tuesday. She has to pay electricity dues to the tune of Rs 25,431.
Vijayashanti has rented Plot No 2/B, MLA Colony, Road No. 12 Banjara Hills. The CPDCL has been issuing bills in the name of the house owner, P Sailaja, though the amount is being paid by Vijayashanti.
The CPDCL authorities recently sent an electricity bill for Rs 25,431. To clear it, Vijayashanti issued a cheque, but bank authorities returned it saying there were ‘insufficient funds' in the account.
Shocked by it, the CPDCL officials served notices under Sec-138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
"The notices were served on the owner of the house. According to notices, she has to pay the amount within a month or face a criminal case," a senior CPDCL official told media.
The other notable defaulter is chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy himself who owes Rs 1.07 lakh dues to the CPDCL.
Rajasekhara Reddy, who used to reside on Road No 2, Banjara Hills, ran up a bill of Rs 10.07 lakhs for his old house.
"Since 2000, no dues have been paid. Notices have also been served, but it has not served any purpose," the official said.
In other case, former chief minister Nadendla Bhaskar Rao, who is residing at Plot No. 245, Road No 19 & 36, Banjara Hills, has to pay Rs 1.46 lakh electricity dues since September 2007. Later, CPDCL authorities disconnected power after he did not reply to notices served on him.

Chandrababu With 4 Brands Of Powders

Like it or not, the truth still remains that the appeal of the film stars is very high in the Andhra Pradesh political scenario and irrespective of whether they have done any good to the public or not, there are several film stars who have won with some real landslide majorities whenever they have contested for elections.
For the big political parties, it is the canvassing part which plays a key role and film industry contributes a lot to this aspect. This time it is Chandrababu Naidu who is said to be gearing up for the coming elections for which he is using four brands of film powder on his face to counter the possible invasion of Megastar Chiranjeevi and other parties (it's called so called cine glamour).
"Naidu is using four powders and the brands are Balakrishna, NTR Jr, Hari Krishna and Kalyan Ram for his canvassing" ironically says a Congress leader. The question is how effective will this make up be to appeal to the voters and give Babu the much needed reigns of power. It is also heard that Congress is trying to rope in 'Prince' Mahesh Babu for their projections.

Ram Charan's Girl Awaiting Second Chance

They say it takes more than just good looks to make it big in showbiz. Guess that should explain why Neha Sharma is not getting many offers in Tollywood. In spite of making a high profile debut opposite Charan Tej in Chirutha, the actress has not found favour with the filmmakers in town. That seems to have turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the actress has bagged a Bollywood project to be directed by Yugandhar. Sources close to the actress say that she's not done with Tollywood yet. Apparently, the actress has been deliberating on some Tollywood offers on hand and should soon be signing up for a Telugu film.

Accident Makes 'Puli' Postpone

Power Star Pawan Kalyan who breathed a huge sigh of relief when his recent release 'Jalsa' finally brought him the much needed success was all charged up for his next venture 'Puli' which is being directed by his close associate from the Tamil industry S J Suryah. Incidentally, both Pawan and Suryah were the winning team of the blockbuster hit 'Khushi'.
However as luck would have it, the film which was due to hit the floors on June 20th might well have to wait for another day to see the light. Apparently, S J Suryah who also happens to be an actor in Tamil was busy shooting for his film 'Newtonin Moondravadhu Vidhi' (which means 'Newton's Third Law) wherein he was doing a chasing scene on his bike which was chased by the villains in a car. The car hit the bike and Suryah got thrown off and has now landed up at the Life Line hospital in Chennai.
Though he has suffered injury below his eye and some bruises, the doctors have advised strict bed rest for the next two weeks. This means that while Suryah rests in the hospital, 'Puli' has to rest in its cage and wait for the taker to come and set it free. What say Pawan???

Ashwini Dutt's Fear Changed Title

Mega producer Ashwini Dutt who has been basking on the success of his recent release 'Kantri' is all set to come up with his another mega venture 'Kathanayakudu' which stars the legendary superstar Rajinikanth. However, there seems to be a tale behind the title change of the movie from 'Kucheludu' to 'Kathanayakudu'
First, the title 'Kucheludu' would mean more focus on Jagapathi Babu who is playing a key role and this would sideline Rajini which would lead to less demand among the buyers and distributors when the movie has to be sold. Moreover 'Kathanayakudu' suits very much to Rajini's image and the makers are looking at cashing on this at the fullest.
It is also heard that Dutt felt the title 'Kucheludu' would send a wrong signal to the audience that it might be a devotional flick and the commercial angle would be missing in it which could cause a dip in the viewers, hence these fears made him resort to the title change. It now remains to be seen how much of all this will help him get a success. Good luck for that Dutt Garu!!!

Chiranjeevi In 1977

Megastar is now a busy man. He has been working almost round the clock for several months, finalizing his plans for a career in politics. He has been burning the midnight oil to prepare the blue print for his soon to be launched political party and announce the agenda.
And coming to the point Sarath Kumar is playing the lead role in a film titled '1977'. The major part of the film has been shot in Hyderabad. The buxom Namitha and Farzana are the heroines in this film. The audio of the film will be launched soon. Sarath Kumar is trying to rope in megastar Chiranjeevi as the chief guest for the unveiling of the audio. It is not yet clear if Chiranjeeevi has accepted the invitation. It is known that Sarath Kumar is quite close to Chiranjeevi and his family. He acted with Chiranjeevi in the film 'Gang Leader' and with Allu Arjun in 'Bunny'.
He is also the President of the South Indian Movie Artists Association. Hence, many feel that it would be hard for Chiranjeevi to turn down the invitation both due to personal and professional affinity.

'Don't expect much from T-panel meet'

The proposed meeting of five-member panel, set up by Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu to discuss the demand for Telangana State, will not achieve anything immediately.
According to senior TD MLA and politburo member Nagam Janardhan Reddy, the panel would only collect opinions from party workers representing all the three regions of the State on the Telangana issue. The opinions would be consolidated and submitted to politburo, which would discuss the report. "Ours is not a decision-making body. It would be left to the politburo," Nagam said.
Politburo decision is nothing but Naidu's personal decision. Everybody knows what is in Naidu's mind. So, what can one expect from the T-panel meet. It is like digging the whole mountain to catch a small rat!

Chiru enquires about mid-term polls

Megastar Chiranjeevi seems to be still confused over the launch of his political party. He is said to be wondering what he should do, in the event of early elections to Lok Sabha and State Assembly.
Sources close to Chiru said he had asked the Left parties to find out whether there was any possibility of early elections, so that he would work out his plans on advancement of the launch of his party. Chiru's brother-in-law Allu Aravind had a telephonic talk with CPI State secretary M Narayana, who is presently in New Delhi, to know whether there was a possibility of the Left parties withdrawing their support to the UPA government, which would lead to snap polls. Narayana reportedly told him that the Left parties would take a decision, after their meeting with the UPA Coordination Committee meeting in Delhi on June 18.
So, it would be known in a couple of days whether Chiru would advance his party launch or defer it till August, as decided earlier. If things are not smooth, he might even postpone it further, sources said.

Why No Naga Babu In 'Chiru Bhajana'?

Chiranjeevi is now the heart throb of Andhra Pradesh. He is now omni present in every news channel, web portals and News Papers. Talking about him itself is creating a great stir among folks.
But his yet to be born party seems to be no different from others. Chiranjeevi's brother K Nagendra Babu, who is interacting and mediating between his brother and other frontal organizations, both existing and those which are being floated as a precursor to Chiru's entry, did not keep his promise of attending the inaugural of the party's teachers' association, Sarvepalli Mega Teachers Association.
The new association, which is the 21st of the teacher's associations existing in the state, promulgated itself as one of the frontal organizations of Chiru's upcoming party. The meeting was scheduled to start at 2 pm and Naga Babu was supposed to attend as the chief guest. Megastar's teacher fans those came from all parts of the state have to wait for Naga Babu's arrival. With no signs of Naga Babu turning up, the meeting went on.
Many fans turned disheartened and left the auditorium in dismay. The most disappointed was the women folk who came in good numbers. The function which is expected to have intellectual discussion has turned into 'Chiru bajana'. The program was coordinated by SPARK coordinator T V Rao. Breaking the promise is a fashion for many politicians. Why Naga Babu did this before starting the party itself.

Chiranjeevi's 'Puja' For Telugu Population

Chiranjeevi is on full swing now. He is coming out slowly opening the doors. He is the demigod for millions of his fans. And hence he started the political mantra taking the names of his fans saying 'fans ke pedda peeta'. He is now going ahead and making some public appearances. But still he is not open to talk about politics at this juncture. He performed puja for Lord Hanuman, his favorite god, at Film Nagar Anjaneya Swamy temple at 8 AM IST. He said that he performed puja only for the well being of all the people of the state. When asked about his political interests, he has shown resistance as usually. Chiranjeevi came along with his wife and son Ram Charan for the puja.

TDP issues show cause notice to Gutha

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Monday issued a show cause notice to its senior leader Gutha Sukhender Reddy. He has been asked to explain the reasons leading to the defeat of Mothkupalli Narsimhulu in Alair constituency in the recent bye-elections. He was also asked to explain about his open statements on Telangana issue. The party gave him one week to respond.
It may be recalled that the Congress also issued show cause notice to their senior leader V Purushotham Reddy seeking explanation from him on the Alair constituency issue.
Gutha Sukender Reddy, however, said he is yet to receive the notice. “ I am not aware of any such notice. I will respond only after receiving the notice,” he said.
In fact, Mothkupally Narsimhulu had stated openly that he lost the election because of Gutha Sukhender Reddy.

Police Fired Farmers In Nizamabad

Nizamabad is now burning like a hot bed with police firing on farmers. Situation turned very hot when farmers were staging a dharna on NH-7 in protest against Mahipal Reddy, a businessman who sells fertilizer. The farmers tried to ablaze the businessman's house but that proved to be a futile attempt. Police opened lathi charge in this situation.
But the farmers didn't stop at that point and continued their agitation. They also retaliated on police with stones. DSP Hathi Ram and local Sub Inspector were severely injured with this. As the situation turned out of control, police opened fire. But still the farmers tried to ablaze another businessman Anand Reddy's house. Agricultural Minister Raghuveera Reddy reacted to this and expressed his sorrow over police shooting. He termed the incident as an unfortunate incident and said that he is tracking the information from the police. It is learnt that Chief Minister Y S Rajasekar Reddy is going to conduct an emergency meeting on this issue very shortly.

TRS loses hopes on Chiru

At last, Telangana Rashtra Samithi appears to have lost hopes on having an understanding with megastar Chiranjeevi before the next general elections, with his brother Nagababu giving a hint that the new party would not favour a Telangana State.
All these days, TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao has been of the hope that there could be a tie-up with Chiru party, even if the latter adopts a neutral stand, if not a positive stand. However, Nagababu's statement has shattered all his hopes. He has to now look for a fresh alliance to survive in the arena.
TRS MLA and KCR's nephew T Harish Rao did not hide his disappointment. He said Nagababu's statement that certain forces were trying to divide the people on the regional lines, was an insult to the people of Telangana, who have been fighting for their self-respect. Though Chiranjeevi did not come out openly against Telangana, Nagababu's comments were a reflection of Chiru's mind, Harish said.

Hi-Tech Mega 'Ratham' for Chiru

With the speculations rife that Megastar Chiranjeevi might announce the launch of his political party in August, it is reliably learnt that a state-of-the-art vehicle is getting ready for his campaign across the state.
Sources said the ten wheeler is being built by an auto-fabricator in Ahmedabad. Apart from air conditioned room, conference hall and other facilities, the vehicle will be fitted with out door broadcasting equipment. It is also learnt that people close to Chiranjeevi held discussions with the broadband service provider Airtel in this connection. The vehicle will be ready by the time Megastar makes his announcement, sources said.

Nagarjuna's Son's Movie Titled 'Dev'

All the attention now is on the debut film of Nagarjuna's son Naga Chaitanya. He was supposed to make his debut last year but as Puri was busy with introducing Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan, Nagarjuna decided to wait for some more time. This year Nagarjuna expected to take up his son's project. But Puri is committed to doing a film with Ravi Teja and after that he will do a big film for Soundarya Rajnikanth with Mahesh Babu in the lead role. That makes Puri busy till the second half of 2009. So Nagarjuna has decided to go ahead and give a chance to a new director to make the debut film of his son. Annapoorna Studios have registered the title 'Dev'. It is not clear if the title is for Naga Chaitanya's debut film. But Nagarjuna is determined to launch his son into Tollywood this year as per close sources.

Mohan Babu Unhappy Over SIMS

Actor Mohan Babu is in Tirupathi to take care of her mother who is getting treatment in SIMS hospital. Mohan Babu came along with local MLA Venkata Ramana to the hospital. He was disturbed with the situation in SIMS and asked MLA for the reason. He said that his letters to Director are bearing no value. Immediately he talked to Director but the latter said that TTD Is not releasing funds despite continuous follow up. Mohan Babu said that he will take it to the notice of CM. We have to see if things move positively with the initiation of Mohan Babu in this regard.

Jr choreographer refuses to go home to parents

Deposing before State Human Rights Commission chairman B Subhashan Reddy, aspiring choreographer Surya Teja, 16, on Monday said he does not want to go back to his parents as he was being harassed by them.
In response to a complaint by Teja’s parents that anchor Dimple had kidnapped their son, Subhashan Reddy had summoned the youth. Dimple claimed she had no role in Teja’s disappearance as he went to Srisailam on his own.
“I have two more reality shows. After that, I want to go to Chennai to become a choreographer,” Teja said.
Saying that he was a minor, Subhashan Reddy directed police to keep him in the State Home, Nampally.

Shankar Moving Around The Globe

The showman of Kollywood, director Shankar has gone globe trotting to finalise locations for his Rajinikanth- Aishwarya Rai magnum opus Robot. Keeping him company is ace cameraman Ratnavel. Shankar and Ratnavel are on the biggest ever location hunt for a Tamil film that will take them to Vienna in Austria, and from there to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Hawai in US and finally to never seen before locations in Vietnam.
During this exotic tour, both the director and cameraman will decide the places they will shoot depending on the script, logistics and the weather at the time of the shoot. A Shankar film always starts with the shoot of a song on the hero and heroine. In Anniyan, he shot the O Sukumari… song in Amsterdam while for Sivaji, he first picturised Vaaji, Vaaji…, before starting the talkie portion.
The buzz is that he will start Robot with the shoot of two songs on the lead pair Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in foreign locations sometime in August.

Chakry Enjoyed In 'Black Hole'

Music director Chakry is in the news recently for making several announcements in connection with his birthday. Chakry called for a press conference a couple of days before his birthday and said that he was initiating several social activities as part of his birthday. Chakry printed several posters urging people to fight for literacy, potable water etc and pasted them on the walls of Film Nagar on the occasion of his birthday a couple of days ago. Doctor Hero Behind Puri's Heroine

Sanjana is a new entrant into the Telugu film industry. She acted in some Kannada films but could not make a mark. She struggled for roles in Kannada and was looking for a suitable break when she was spotted by Puri Jagannath.
Puri signed up Sanjana for the role of the second heroine in his film 'Bujjigadu made in Chennai'. Sanjana's role was brief and she also has no much scope for acting. But she managed to give her best and was noticed by many for her good looks and figure.
Sanjana is now getting offers from many producers. She has also bagged a meaty role in a new film by Dr. Rajashekar. The film titled 'Sathyameva Jayathe' will hit the floors on June 18. Chief Minister YS Rajashekar Reddy gives the clap for the muhurat shot.
Dr. Rajashekar Reddy's wife Jeevitha will direct the film. Sathyameva Jayathe is a remake of the Hindi film 'Khakee'. Sanjana hopes to become a busy star after the release of Sathyameva Jayathe.

Sivaji's Property Rs 20 Cr?

Sivaji is one actor in the industry who is a thorough professional. He has absolutely no airs at all. Hits or flops, he continues to be busy with films. He has been going on at a steady pace for years now. He has a committed set of following and his films run modestly. He may not guarantee good openings but many of his films have done well on word of mouth. He never shows off or boasts that he is a hero and shows those airs. He is also very wise. While many young actors are known to fritter away all the money they earn from films, Sivaji spends his money wisely.
He has invested each and every rupee he earned from films on lands and properties and they have now appreciated considerably. On a conservative estimate, Sivaji is now worth about 20 crore. Good going indeed.

Chiru party, no for Telangana?

Megastar Chiranjeevi has more or less decided to take a stand against formation of separate Telangana State.
Chiranjeevi's brother Nagababu on Sunday gave enough hints to this effect. Nagababu, who confirmed to mediapersons that Chiru is indeed entering politics in August, observed that "annayya" always wanted that the people of Andhra Pradesh remain united. "Certain selfish forces are adopting the "divide and rule" policy, practiced by the British before Independence, to divide the people of Andhra Pradesh in the name of caste, religion and regions. We are of the view that the people should remain united and maintain the integrity of the State," he said.
Is it not enough to indicate that Chiranjeevi would advocate the integrationist policy? In fact, Chiranjeevi waited for the outcome of the recent byelections and it gave him a lot of relief. He is now confident that he could attract the people towards his party, without even uttering a word on Telangana State. At the most, he can show sympathy towards the backwardness of Telangana and might promise to strive for its all round development.

Ramoji Rao Struggling With Film-City Ads

Eenadu group chairman Ramoji Rao is going though what can be described as the worst phase in his entire life. Nothing seems to be going right for this grand old man who built up a huge empire from literally scratch. Ramoji is now battling problems on both personal as well as professional fronts. Jagan's Sakshi is giving a tough fight to Eenadu. The congress MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar is giving sleepless nights to Ramoji Rao with his relentless fights and expose of the malpractices in Margadarsi Financiers. Ramoji Rao is also facing a big problem from his younger son Suman. After kicking out Prabhakar from ETV, he has now taken full control of the channel. The channel is now airing only one ad repeatedly and that is the ad of Ramoji film city. Earlier, there used to be many ads on Suman's audio cassettes. The ads have now disappeared completely. Ramoji is trying to lure people in big way to pull them to Film City to earn a few bucks for the maintenance of Film City.

Priyadarshini Ram made several ad films and later switched over to making feature films. He directed films like 'Manodu' and 'Toss'.
The film Toss featured Raja, Upendra and Priyamani in the lead roles was a modest grosser. After that Ram did not make any films but opted to join Saakshi.
He seems to be very happy with the job. He has no plans to make a film in the near future as per sources. His work as features editor keeps him engaged all the time. He is now a director turned successful journalist.

Prabhas' Calls On Your Mobile Phone

The private TV channels are trying out various methods in order to increase their TRP ratings. The SMS route is the 'in' thing now. The channels pick a hot topic of the day and ask viewers to send an SMS with their comments. The lure is that their comments will be shown in the scrolls along with their names and the place of their origin.
The revenue generated through the SMSs is shared by the service providers and the TV channels. ETV has now come up with a contest wherein hero Prabhas will call you up personally on your mobile. He will say 'Yaandi oka paata padandi' or 'Yandi emanna matladandi…' etc. We all know that it is Prabhas' style of dialogue delivery in 'Bujjigadu Made In Chennai'. ETV program anchor has been shouting from TV sets "Want Prabhas to call you? Then what are you waiting for? Send an SMS immediately to ETV. Send an SMS to EPT - space - name to 5600606". Well, no one knows many lured mobs would have sent their SMSes so far?!

Arthi is now acting in the film 'Gorintaku'. Rajashekar is the hero and she is playing the role of his wife. Meera Jasmine is playing the role of Rajashekar's sister.
Arthi shocked everyone on the sets with the figure. It is known that she has been plump since beginning but now she had put on a lot of weight after her marriage. Now she is very fat to resist. It was only natural that people started commenting about her weight.
Arthi was hurt with all the comments and she even broke down. Rajashekar consoled her and asked her not to take notice of the comments.

The work on Chiranjeevi's proposed political party is now in full swing. Majority of the lower rung party workers comprise of fans from Chiranjeevi fans association. Some of them have been selected and given special training in various aspects to work as personal bodyguards of the megastar.
Others are being trained on how to motivate people and explain the policies and programms of Chiranjeevi's political party. While Kapus will naturally form the back bone of the party, people from other castes are also showing a lot of interest in backing Chiranjeevi.
The Rajus from West Godavari are coming out openly is support of Chiranjeevi. Krishnam Raju is a prominent Raju but he is in the BJP. Rajus from other districts are also showing a marked preference for Chiranjeevi.

NTR’s son seeks transfer of daughter’s lockers

Nandamuri Jayakrishna, son of former chief minister late N T Rama Rao, and his wife Padmaja have approached second additional chief judge of the Hyderabad city civil court to transfer to them two lockers which contain jewellery of their deceased daughter Kumudini in Chennai.
These lockers are in the names of Kumudini and her husband Srinath Prasad at Kothari Safe Deposits Ltd and Madras Safe Deposit Company Ltd in Chennai.
Srinath Prasad was earlier convicted by a family court in Chennai as the person responsible for the suicide of Kumudini. A legal battle between Srinath Prasad and Jayakrishna over the custody of the two minor sons of Kumudini and Srinath which involved the high court of Madras, Supreme Court and a family court in New York ended in a compromise.
According to this compromise, Jayakrishna and his wife were made custodians of the two minors and their properties in India.
The children, however, would be with their father while residing in New York. Their father who had appealed against his conviction is now staying in New York.
Jayakrishna, who moved the city civil court with the latest application, said in his petition that due to the sudden death of his daughter and the trauma that followed, they could not immediately mention the particulars of the two lockers that were lying in the name of their daughter in Chennai while executing a compromise deal earlier.
They argued that since they had gifted the jewellery in these lockers to their daughter and also since they are now the guardians of her children in India, it is only fair to transfer these lockers to them.
The court posted the matter to June 19 for further hearing in this case.

Rajni floored by Amitabh’s act

When Rajnikanth described Amitabh Bachchan as the true emperor of Indian cinema, he meant every word. The mutual admiration that the duo have for each other is well known and the Tamil superstar proved it again by asking for a special screening of Bachchan’s latest film Sarkar Raj in Chennai.
The film reportedly impressed Rajni so much, that he immediately called up the Big B and told him that this is his finest performance ever and that he would watch the film once again for this reason. Bachchan, touched by Rajni’s gesture, said, “It feels nice when an actor like him compliments you.” Last year when Rajni’s film Sivaji The Boss had released, the south legend had flown down to Mumbai to show the film to his friend. Although the two superstars have been compared for their huge popularity, they share a great relationship with each other.

'I made some wrong choices' -- Archana

Post Pandurangadu, Archana's career seems to be shaping up. Although the actress did a small role, she grabbed the attention of one and all.
Now, she has now been signed up for two Telugu films under noted directors. What’s more, the lady is also to act in a Kannada film which is a remake of Pogaru. This Kuchipudi exponent has done more than nine Telugu films but could not make any headway in her career.
"I made some wrong choices in my career but I am being careful about it now. My career is going great and I am enjoying this phase of my life thoroughly," she says. While she's busy with her filmi career, she has not given up her passion for dance. "I am trying hard to juggle between acting and dancing. While acting is my bread and butter, dancing on stage is my first passion. There's a direct contact with the audience and I can guage their response immediately," she says.
She is also planning to conduct a Kuchipudi show soon in the city.

Will Srihari Be 'Andhra Dara Singh'

Sri Hari is now one of the most versatile artists in the industry today. He began his career as a villain and slowly switched over to hero roles. He is equally at ease playing as villain as well as playing a doting brother.
In some ways, he is like the immensely talented Prakash Raj. Sri Hari's roles in films like 'Nuvosthanante Nee Vaddantana' and 'Dhee' were widely appreciated.
Sri Hari may be busy with films round the year but he never misses out on one thing. It is his daily routine of rigorous workouts. He has a well built body and vows that he will maintain his body till his last breath.
He seems to have taken inspiration from wrestler and Hindi actor Dara Singh in this aspect. Even at the age of 80, Dara Singh continues to maintain his body in shape and is quite active too.

Krishnam Raju Activates His Banner

Rebel star Krishnam Raju has now taken some time off from politics. He made it big in politics by winning the Lok Sabha seat from Narsapuram and becoming a union minister in AB Vajpayee's cabinet. Krishnam Raju is still in the BJP and plans to contest the next elections on the BJP ticket. He is now planning to revive his once popular banner Gopi Krishna movies. He made several good films on the banner but later all film making activity came to a stand still. Krishnam Raju is involving his nephew Prabhas and his brother in the activities of Gopi Krishna Movies. The banner will also make content for TV. Several projects have been lined by Krishnam Raju for his banner. We have to see how he strikes the ground. As per sources the first project would be 'Visala Netralu', Krishnam Raju's pet project.

Kollywood, Tollywood and Now Sandalwood

Trisha is a household name in Tollywood and Kollywood. The talented beauty has given a number of hits in both Telugu and Tamil. She is easily one of the leading actors in Telugu. This year, she has two big releases to her credit in Telugu and both have done well.
Her first film this year, 'Krishna' opposite Ravi Teja and directed by VV Vinayak was one of the biggest hits of the year. Her second film, 'Bujjigadu made in Chennai' with Prabhas in the lead and directed by Puri Jagannath was also a decent hit.
Trisha has now set her eyes on Sandalwood. She has signed for her first film there. She will pair up with power star Puneet Raj Kumar for the film titled 'Lagori'. The immensely talented Yogiraj Bhatt will direct the film. Yogiraj is a talented director and has several big hits to his credit.
If Trisha gets busy in Sandalwood, then she may have to cut down on her films in Telugu. Tollywood's loss could well become Sandalwood's gain!

Why News Reader Pragathi Losing Charm?

Pragathi is a well known name for the people of Andhra Pradesh. She is an accomplished newsreader who impressed everyone with not only her good looks but also her good diction and news presentation.
Many people were first attracted to her for her lovely face and big round eyes. Even those people who normally never watch news bulletins used to switch on the TV at 9.00 p.m. to just catch a glimpse of her. Keeping this aside, whenever there were qualifying tests for ETV News Readers, there would be a question, "who is your favorite News Reader?' All male candidates used to mention only Pragathi's name. Some candidates used to write poetry on her. That is her place in the hearts of many youngsters.
Pragathi began her career with ETV. After becoming a popular newsreader, she later quit ETV and joined MAA TV. Her fans also followed her and started watching MAA news just to look at her.
But slowly the charm and grace is disappearing from her face. She is now looking a bit weak and lean with losing sex appeal. Let's hope that she keeps an eye on her glamour and makes her fans happy.

Abhishek is the decision maker

Though Amitabh Bachchan still holds his position as the most saleable veteran star, Abhishek Bachchan’s living up to his illustrious lineage with performances in movies like Guru and Sarkar Raj. In fact, Junior has survived to hold fort when in the same frame as Amitabh in Ramu’s film. The movie has enhanced Amitabh and Abhishek's relationship in real and reel life. When we met Abhi recently, he said, “It was interesting that the son takes over the decision making role in this part and allows his father to be. This is what every son eventually wants for his father.” So has Baby Bachchan begun to make decisions at home, too? Over to you, Abhi!

Another Young Hero to Go For 6-Pack

The craze for acquiring a well crafted body is one thing and the craze for acquiring six pack abs is entirely different.
The six pack abs craze first began in Bollywood. Actors like SRK sported this and also exhibited it very prominently by removing their shirts in a scene or two.
This has also caught up in Telugu in a big way. The young heroes are going in for six pack abs one after the other. Allu Arjun sported six packs for his role in the film Desamuduru. Then hero Prabhas showed off his six pack abs in Bujjigadu in a scene.
Nithin is sporting not six but eight packs in his forthcoming film 'Victory'. Hero Ram is now ready with his new film titled 'Ready'. Ram is also going in for six pack abs.

'I'm Not Envious Of My Heroes' -- Puri

Puri Jagannath is happy for the result of Bujjigadu. He says that his heroes got good name in all of his films so far. When asked if he is feeling envious of that he said 'Not at all. My motto is to bring good name for my heroes'. Prabhas style of diction and mannerism got very huge applause among the youth and masses. Puri also said that he is very happy working with Mohan Babu for the film.
"I doubted if he will agree for the role of Sivanna. But he did without second thought. He simply asked me to tell his role. He didn't even ask the story line. I said 'it's a goonda role'. Mohan Babu garu accepted instantly", said Puri Jagannath.
He also said that he had memorable moment during audio release of Bujjigadu when Rajni Kanth said that, if he had a son, he would have introduced him on the hands of Puri Jagannath. "That made me happy and pushed me on cloud-9" said Puri.
Finally Puri said that he may be working with Prabhas again in ear future and when suggested the title 'Darling', he gave a positive nod.

Music Director Chakry in Chiranjeevi Line

Music director Chakry seems to be heavily inspired by megastar Chiranjeevi. Chakri hails from the same caste as that of Chiru – Kapu.
Chakry is one of the most successful music directors in the industry today. Like Chiranjeevi, he is also now taking an interest in doing social service. He wants to do his bit for the poor and the downtrodden by tapping his contacts in the industry.
To mark his birthday on June 14th, Chakry has got several posters printed. The posters state that Chakry is now doing his bit for the society. It is mentioned on the posters that he will work for causes like getting safe drinking water for everyone, spreading awareness about AIDS, spreading literacy etc holding a rally tomorrow (June 14th).
But the posters do not mention one important thing. That is, the ills of drinking. There is no mention of fighting for prohibition at all. The reason is obvious. Chakry is a heavy drinker and as such, he is unlikely to speak about prohibition. Well, Chakry is not jumping into active politics nor has he any ideas to launch a political party. What Chakry is doing now is take an active interest in social work. He wants to emulate Chiranjeevi. Chiru started the blood and eye banks and they are now well known across the state. His fans frequently organize free health check camps. Nagababu has a special liking for Chakry and he is expected to play a bigger role in the Chiranjeevi camp once Chiru launches his political party.

Dasavataram Fever In TV Channels

The much-awaited film of the year, Kamal Haasan's Dasavatharam is finally releasing world-wide today. The film has been in the making for over two and a half years. Produced by Oscar Ravichandran and directed by KS Ravi Kumar, the film is one of the most expensive films to be made in the country. The budget for the film crossed 70 crore. Kamal Haasan is playing 10 different roles in the film. Asin is the heroine and she is playing a dual role. Mallika Sherawat and Jayaprada are playing special roles in the movie. The film is rich on graphics and high voltage drama. Himesh Reshamiya has scored the music and our own Devi Sree Prasad has done the re-recording work. The film is being released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Dasavatharam is also releasing with sub-titles in Malay and Chinese. In Telugu, the film is releasing with 250 prints. Get glued to this space to read review in a few hours.
The ads are all over the place. Producer Oscar Ravichandran is spending a lot of money on publicity. The multi-level publicity blitz unleashed by Ravichandran is getting tremendous response. The craze for the film has been built up to a new high. The TV channels are going all out to generate maximum publicity for the film.
Even for Rajnikanth's Sivaji, a similar publicity blitz was unlashed. The interest of the audience and their expectations have now reached a feverish pitch and long queues are observed everywhere for tickets. The black ticket vendors are happy as tickets fetching upwards of Rs. 1,000 for the first three days in Chennai especially.

'Gamyam' Krish- The Moving Library

It is good to know that the young and successful directors like Krish (Jagarlamudi Radhkrishna) are also very well read. He made the beautiful film 'Gamyam' with Sharawanand, Kamalini Mukherjee and Allari Naresh in the lead roles. Gamyam is without doubt one of the best films to have hit the screens in 2008. He is now the most courted director in Tollywood after Puri and Rajamouli. The impression becomes stronger if he can make a success with big star as well. Krish made Gamyam after being inspired with the 1974 released book 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance'. He is a voracious reader and has read most of the international best sellers that have hit the book shelves in the last 30 years. Krish also keeps updating himself with spiritual books like 'Many Lives Many Masters', 'Same Soul Many Bodies'. He keeps on gulping Robin Sharma's and Chetan Bhagat's works as well. Just mention the title of any best seller, Krish will produce the gist of it in nutshell. The hunger for knowledge and desire to swallow the best selling literature is seen in him in big way.
There are very few film makers who are voracious readers in Krish's standards, say film sources. He is also very much knowledgeable about films and talks extensively about the flicks like 'Fiddler on the Roof, 'In the Mood of Love', 'Red', White', Blue' etc.

Naga Chitanya's Director Vinay Varma

Hero Nagarjuna is determined to launch the career of his son Naga Chaitanya this year. Naga Chaitanya has undergone training in acting from a reputed school in Mumbai and also mastered horse riding and martial arts in UK and Australia. Nagarjuna was keen like Chiranjeevi to launch the career of his son under the direction of Puri Jagannath. Puri also agreed to the suggestion. But Puri is now committed to making a film titled 'Neninthe' with Ravi Teja. After that Puri Jagannath is slated to do a film for Soundarya Rajnikanth and Warner Brothers. Mahesh Babu will play the lead role in the film. As this will keep Puri busy till the end of 2009, Nagarjuna did not want to wait that long. So he heard a story narrated by a newcomer Vinay Varma. Nagarjuna liked the story very much and okayed in just one hour. Nagarjuna will introduce his son in a film to be directed by a newcomer. It's daring- but confident step, indeed.

MAA TV Moved Close To Chiranjeevi

MAA TV is now making waves in more ways than one. The channel has been revamped some time back and the new format and popular programs have made it into a popular entertainment and also news channel with a wide viewer-ship.
Nagarjuna is taking personal interest in the programs for the channel. He has produced the popular serial Yuva on the lines of Shekar Kammula's film Happy Days.
The office of MAA TV was situated in Begumpet all these days. The office has now been shifted to a new spacious building in Jubilee Hills. The office is now quite near to Chiranjeevi's residence.
It is also close to Nagarjuna's residence and he is now finding it easy to commute to the MAA TV office.

'I won because of TDP and Cong'

Creating a flutter in the Congress and TDP camps, TRS legislator from Alair in Nalgonda Dr K Nagesh said that the leaders of these two parties were responsible for his win in the recent by-elections.
Nagesh, on his first visit to Yadagirigutta after his victory, told reporters that the detractors of M Narsimhulu, who contested the election on a TDP ticket, worked for his win the elections. It is not only the TDP leaders but support came from the Congress camp also, he claimed.
According to Nagesh, the followers of Ramannapet legislator and senior leader Vuppunuthala Purusotham Reddy worked for him. Purusotham Reddy had openly asked people to vote for TRS.
Both the Congress and TDP leaders, however, had denied Nagesh’s claims.
Both the political camps are thinking whether it is a ploy of the TRS to create trouble in the respective parties.
“How can a MLA say that he did not won on his own strength but due to the support extended by the opposition leaders? It seems a trick,” a senior leader commented.

Goud has no supporters in TD

Senior TD leader T Devender Goud appears to be completely isolated in the party, with no support from even die-hard supporters of Telangana.
Already TD president N Chandrababu Naidu is keeping him away from major policy decisions, as he is suspecting that Goud did not make enough efforts for the party's victory in Vikarabad constituency. Secondly, his open talk on Telangana has angered the party president.
Goud thought his pro-Telangana statements would get some support from the other leaders, who had earlier raised voices in favour of Telangana, like Kadiam Srihari, Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Peddi Reddy, S Venugopala Chary and Yerrabelli Dayakar Rao. But they are all ignoring him. Srihari has become an MLA, Yerrabelli has become an MP; Peddi Reddy and Chary improved their performance in the recent byelections.
Moreover, all these leaders were planning to come out of the TD and start a separate Telangana Telugu Desam. They requested Goud to lead this new party, but he did not respond positively, as he thought he was enjoying No. 2 position in TD. So, they dropped the idea. Now, all of them are in good positions in the party, while Goud is in crisis. There are no takers for Goud at present!

Vuppunuthala shunted out of office

Looks like days are numbered for senior Congress MLA Vuppunuthala Purushottam Reddy in Congress.
Even as the party high command is preparing the ground for his expulsion from the party, the YSR government showed an exit door to him. Reddy, who is heading the Telangana Regional Development Board, was asked to vacate the premises located in the old building of RTC headquarters in the city.
A notice to this effect was served on him by APSRTC management. Significantly, APSRTC is headed by Vuppunuthala's friend and Telangana protagonist M Satyanarayana Rao. The RTC management threatened to evict him forcibly, if he does not vacate the premises.
Already, Vuppunuthala is fretting and fuming for not being given any powers and funds in the Telangana Board. Now, this notice has come as a humiliation to him. As if rubbing salt on his wounds, the Chief Minister remarked that the old leaders were talking in desperation, because of their old age. An angry Vuppunuthala is gearing up for a direct confrontation with YSR. Result would be obvious: he would be shown the door, sooner or later.

Chiranjeevi's Health under Check

Megastar Chiranjevi is now all geared up to jump into politics in a big way. The name of the party, flag, agenda etc. has all been finalized. He has also constituted several district level committees and roped in his fans to work for the party in full time.
Doctors, advocates, IT professionals, workers, students, NRIs etc. are also slowly expressing their solidarity with Chiranjeevi.
Chiranjeevi himself has undergone training in aspects like public relations, brushed up knowledge of current affairs and Indian constitution etc.
He has also been preparing himself to be physically fit in order to be able to withstand the rough and tumble of politics. He is following a special diet regimen and a team of doctors are checking his health on a regular basis.
Once Chiranjeevi launches his political party, he will not have much time to rest as he will have to put in about 16 to 17 hours for party work every day.

Young Lady Cinematographer from IIM-MBA

Women have dominated the field of cinema for many years. While one finds women in many departments like acting, singing, production and direction, not many have taken any interest in handling the technical departments.
There are very few lady cinematographers. Malini Dasari is one such example. She is working as a cinematographer for the film 'Ankith Pallavi and Friends'.
Malini is highly qualified; she did her MBA from the prestigious IIM. She later did her diploma in cinematography from the premier film institute in Pune.
So one can expect some high technical values in the film 'Ankith Pallavi and Friends;'

Moily dampens MLAs' spirits

AICC incharge of AP affairs Veerappa Moily has poured water on the aspirations of several Congress MLAs for a berth in the Y S Rajasekhara Reddy Cabinet.
Moily said on Wednesday that there would not be any expansion of YSR cabinet and that all the Congress MLAs should concentrate on strengthening the party in their respective constituencies, rather than lobbying for ministerial posts. This has dampened the spirits of several MLAs, who were hoping that they would be able to enjoy the Cabinet positions at least for a few months.
What does Moily's statement indicate? Party sources say the Congress high command is contemplating advancing of general elections by six months, which means they could be held by this year end. Along with Lok Sabha elections, elections to State Assembly also could be advanced. So, there is no point in expanding Cabinet for the sake of it, sources say.

Behind The Scene: Goud to be expelled from TD?

Stage is set for the expulsion of T Devender Goud from Telugu Desam, if party sources are to be believed. Following the all round attack on him by the other Telugu Desam leaders, Goud met party president N Chandrababu Naidu and gave an explanation on his statement that he would go out of the party, if the party fails to take an early decision on Telangana.
Sources say Naidu was not happy with Goud's statement and pulled him up for going to the media, without discussing it within the party. "Whatever you want to say, you should say it before the five-member committee on Telangana. But it is not proper to talk about it in the media," he said. He defended Secunderabad MLA Talasani Srinivasa Yadav's tirade against Goud.
Apparently, Goud felt humiliated. Though he participated in the politburo meeting at Kakinada, he appeared off the mood at the press meet, where Naidu firmly said that stern action would be taken against those who violated party discipline. Which means, warning bells were sounded for Goud, sources say.

Kodela fears threat from Maddelacheruvu Suri

Former minister and senior TDP leader Kodela Shivaprasad Rao alleged that civil supplies minister Kasu Krishna Reddy’s son Mahesh Reddy is planning to eliminate him.
Shivaprasad Rao along with his supporters laid siege to the Narsaraopet I town police station in Guntur district on Wednesday morning. The former minister alleged that Krishna Reddy’s son Mahesh Reddy is having consultations with Maddelacheruvu Suri, who is lodged in a prison, to eliminate him.
Shivaprasada Rao alleged that the police are foisting false cases on him on the behest of the local Congress leaders.

Roja's Rs 10 Lakh Bribe To Wine Shop Owner

The high profile act of Roja in Tirupathi just a couple of days ago managed to give her wide publicity in the print as well as electronic media. The Telugu Mahila chief announced that she was going to launch a statewide agitation against belt shops. Roja targeted a belt shop in Tirupathi and broken the shutters. She damaged the property in the shop and also smashed several bottles of liquor on the streets. It has now been revealed that her act was not spontaneous but stage managed. She is reported to have bribed the shop owner and then went on to attack the belt shop. Sources from Tirupathi- Kapilateertham area say that she paid 10 lakh to the belt shop owner and damaged liquor worth about 2 lakhs as part of her protest. The belt shop owner is happy as he made a cool profit of 8 lakhs in a matter of two hours. Roja is also happy because she made headlines in the media and also caught the attention of her party supremo, Chandra Babu Naidu. Roja is doing all these over-active things to over take Nannapaneni Raja Kumari by all means.

Latest 'Jumpings' Into Chiru's Party

The name of Devender Goud has been making rounds as the first big leaders who are going to jump into Chiranjeevi's party. And now the latest news has come from Kurnool where Bhuma Nagireddy and his wife, KE Brothers and SV Subba Reddy are the leaders those are jumping into Chiru's party now. Adding to this Pawan Kalyan is meeting Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao tomorrow. All the above mentioned leaders are now planning to resign from TDP collectively to join in Chiranjeevi's camp. This gives an indication that Chandrababu may have to fight alone with no cadre around by the time Chiru announces his party officially. We have to see what he plans to retain his people with him.
While that is the news from TDP side, the fresh news is that PVL Narasimha Raju, the Congress Leader from Undi Mandal, West Godavari District is also meeting Chiranjeevi this evening to join in his party. He released his profile brochure with Chiranjeevi on the cover page. He already resigned to his Vice Predisent position of 'West Godavari Zilla Congress Committee'.
And last but not least the elections may hit the ground in November as per latest news from reliable political sources.

Actress Maheshwari Getting Married

Maheshwari, the actress who paired up with Jagapathi Babu in films like 'Gulabi' and 'Mrugam' is now getting married. She is presently busy with the acting in the TV serial 'My Name Is Manga Tayaru'. She is the niece of senior actress Sridevi.
She has been in love with a Hyderabadi industrialist from quite a long time. As the families on either side denied this love affair, both have decided to get married as per their own will and wish separating from families. But now the family members on either side have got convinced with the relation and agreed to perform marriage in traditional way.
Maheshwari will not be acting after her marriage it seems.

Nagarjuna's Future Plan Saved Him

Nagarjuna is not only a good actor but is also a shrewd businessman. He is also farsighted. His investments in a TV channel – MAA TV is one such example. He has also invested heavily in real estate for many years and has now struck gold.
Nagarjuna did not sell the perpetual rights of his films and songs. This has now come in very handy for him. He is now airing all his songs on MAA Music, the new non-stop music channel. He is airing songs from his films and that of megastar Chiranjeevi in a big way.
MAA TV is airing a number of film based programs and also running some quality serials. Nagarjuna has some very big plans lined up for MAA in days to come.

Talasani victory, Goud headache

The victory of Talasani Srinivasa Yadav from Secunderabad has become a headache for senior Telugu Desam leader T Devender Goud.
Fresh from his victory, Talasani has become belligerent in the party. There are reports that he might be elevated to the post of Greater Hyderabad party president, replacing K Vijayarama Rao, who is not able to give any lead to the party workers.
Following these reports, Talasani is not caring anybody, seniors or juniors. Particularly, he has started attacking Devender Goud. Nobody in the party reacted when Goud made certain comments on the proposed meeting of five-member Telangana panel on June 18. Goud said he would not continue in the panel, if it adopted delaying tactics like Pranab Mukherjee committee to decide on Telangana issue.
But, Talasani reacted wildly. He said Goud had no business to talk about the outcome of the Telangana panel meeting, but should confine himself to the discussions. He pointed out that Goud should not deviate from the party stand and confuse the party activists. One doesn't know whether Talasani has the blessings of party president N Chandrababu Naidu or not, but he is certainly a thorn in the flesh of Goud!

'It's Difficult to Work with Chiranjeevi'

Many aspiring men those are wishing to step into Chiranjeevi's party are expressing this opinion. Whoever wishes to join Chiranjeevi's party will be called to Geeta Arts Office. Allu Aravind keeps them waiting and meets them after 2 and half hours from the stipulated time of appointment. Even the tea or coffee is not being served for them as per their saying. The aspirants are feeling, "If this is the treatment much before joining the party-it would certainly be difficult getting along in future".
"Allu Aravind considers it as walk in interviews in a company. His treatment with aspirants is something like that. He doesn't know ABCD of political field. Chiranjeevi is very open with people, fans and well wishers. He loves meeting them in time and talking to them with personal touch. But Allu Aravind is an odd man in the group. He has to learn a lot to be successful in political career. He has proven as successful business man but his social skills are to be improved. Aspiring people those are wishing to join Chiranjeevi are not Toms, Dicks and Harrys. They are with people, money and drive behind them. Aravind should know how to treat them", expressed a dejected aspirant in anonymity.
"Aravind is selling himself with the image of Chiranjeevi. He has to mend his ways in more friendly way. Otherwise he will hardly find men with brains in his party down the line. Shrewd men cannot sustain in such a treatment. Only boot lickers may continue with him", says another.
So Chiranjeevi, if really wishes to be a successful politician, he may need to check what is happening around him and how the issues are affecting his image in public. Aspirants are not common fans but elite ones in their communities, areas and groups. They cannot live with mere sycophancy and one side favoritism.
